When to give gifts to wedding party

I would like to know when we are suppose to give the thank you gifts to the wedding party? Preacher, maid of honor, bridesmaids, etc. Is it done at the rehearsal dinner, day of the wedding, after the wedding?

Traditionally couples have chosen the rehearsal dinner to thank their attendants and present them with gifts.
