     money basket

I work for a group of individual, and have a meeting once a month. I went to Las Vegas last month and got married (2nd marriage). At the meeting last week, our bookkeeper put a small basket out with our wedding invitation in it and a wedding card next to it. The thought was to sign the card and put some money in the basket. I didn't realize she did this until the meeting was almost over. Now eight people signed the card and there was $41 in the basket. Now what??

Do I send thank you cards to the people that signed the card and say thank you for the money even if I don't know that they actually gave money or what??? Help!

Yes. You'll just say thank for for the generous gift.
