My boyfriend and I are going to his friends' wedding in September, and we got them a big gift together. I know them fairly well, but my boyfriend was definitely very close to them. When we sent a gift, we mentioned that it was from both of us (my name was actually first in "from" line).
So my boyfriend gets a thank you card from the bride-to-be, and the card very clearly is only addressed to him. I am not upset about not getting a thank you note, but I am wondering if I should mention anything to the bride when I see her... Like "oh, i am glad you liked our gift" or something?

Dear Not Thanked,
No. It is best to just let this one pass. There really is no reason for you to have been over-looked. But, to mention the gift is like begging for a thank you or compliment.
