thank you note etiquette for group gift card

The day before we left for our destination wedding, my Husband's coworkers threw him a party and gave him a gift card for $245 for one of the stores we were registered at enclosed in a greeting card. I've read the posts saying that we should thank each person individually but there are over 30 names signed to this card. Do I still write out a note to each person? I will, if that's the right thing to do! Thanks.

Dear Babyd,

It doesn't matter how many names were listed; all of them gave. So, all of those who gave should be personally thanked. That was a very generous gift.

Best wishes,

Is it okay to send the thank you notes into work with my Husband to distribute? Or do I need to collect everyone's addresses and mail them?

Thank you notes should be mailed.

I agree that usually thank you notes should be mailed, after all people have given gifts. But, since the gift was given at work, your husband can delivery them at work.

He should be participating in writing these thank you notes too Wink
