     uninvited wedding guest giving gift

I was uninvited to a friend's wedding due to miscommunication. I want to send her a monetary wedding gift and was wondering if $100 is too little?

Dear Good Friend:

All gifts should be given from the heart so give what you feel is an appropriate amount. Of course, you are not obligated to give any gift so I would assume anything you send would be warmly welcomed.

If you are trying to mend fences I would suggest shopping for your friend and sending her a gift that shows you care and spent some time selecting. Send the gift along with a handwritten note of good wishes.
