We need to know how to word a registry from a travel agency that doesn't have a wedding registry attached to it. For example, we want to register to AAA travel, but they said they do not have a wedding registry part, and would set up an account for us for people to send either cash or check only, no debit / credit cards allowed. What is the best way to phrase that on the info section on the wedding invite.
Thank you for your help.

We never mention wedding registry or gifts on the wedding invitation. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

Well not on the invitation itself, but don't you send it in on a smaller piece of paper alone with in invitation? Like you got your invitation, then a piece of paper with a map of where its at, then another with an RSVP, then another with the gift registry. I don't know, that is what i have seen on wedding invitations i have received.
thanks

No, wedding invitations never make any mention of gifts. If you have seen this, it was a breech of etiquette. Please search the forum to read other posts about this subject. It's a pretty standard etiquette "rule" which can be read in any wedding etiquette book. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

I completely agree. Gifts should never be the focus, so they are never mentioned anywhere in the invitations. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
