Link to wedding gift registry on wedding website; convenient, but proper?
I know it is only appropriate to spread word of registry preferences via word of mouth. I've mentioned the store names to my bridal attendants who tell others when asked. My mother has been asked by many where we registered so she emails links in response to that.
I am curious if it is poor form to include a link to our registry lists on our wedding website. Isn't that a bit like broadcasting the information ourselves?
Just to make it clear, wee see the registry as a way to avoid getting weird, unnecessary, or duplicate gifts. And it gives friends/family an idea of what we need or our home style.

Dear Bay Bride,
It is nice of you to even consider that it may not be proper. In this case it is though, which is very convenient for your guests. Just don't put the registry links on your first page and you will be fine.
