I'm planning a December wedding. I thought about creating a wedding website, but I know that several members of my fiance's family don't go online. A friend suggested making a wedding newsletter, mailed out after save-the-date cards. It lists things like directions and photos of the church and reception center, a little about us and the bridal party, our new address, etc. She suggested mentioning somewhere in the newsletter, in small print, where we are registered. Is this ok? Thank you :)

Re: [Soon2BeMrsWest] Mentioning gift registy in wedding newsletter

Dear Soon2Be,
No, this wouldn't be appropriate and most likely would be viewed as a way to broadcast your registry information. Honestly, I have never heard anyone who enjoyed receiving a mass mailing of a personal newsletter.
The other information you mentioned, directions and new address, could be included in your save the date cards.
