     Must we register for china?

I would prefer not to register for expensive wedding china, in hope of receiving other gifts. I do not see china as being a highly needed gift at the moment. Will guests expect to see china and want to get it for us?

If you do not select a china pattern then your guests cannot select that item from the choices on your gift registry. This is not to say that a guest cannot select a gift other than what is on the registry but typically people buy from the registry in order to select a gift pleasing to the couple.
