     No Reception- Can I ask for gifts?  

If I am not having a reception can I still have a gift list asking my guest to purshase a gift for me?

Dear Nellia,

You can register, but it would be inappropriate to include this information in your wedding invitation. I don't know where you would list your choice of gifts if this is what you want to do. Our wishes are conveyed by word of mouth.
