     Second Marriage Wedding Registry

I'm getting married in 6 weeks and it is the second marriage for both of us. We currently live together and we don't need any gifts. We are actually buying a new home because we need more room for the things that we do have. We are paying for the wedding ourselves and everyone keeps asking if I have registered. I don't know what to do! We would prefer cash or gift certificates but how do you convey this without being tacky!

Dear My,

The only way to do this is verbally and only when others ask. It can't be written on any invitation.

Best wishes,
