     Signing gifts by relatives

From Uncle X or From X. How does one sign oneself to a couple, where one is a relative?

Neither 'From Uncle X' or 'From X' or seems appropriate

The other member of the couple who is not your relative now will be your relative after the marriage. So, Best Wishes from Uncle X would be most appropriate.
