Wedding Website - Registry

I have seen advice to NOT put the registry on the 1st page of your website. Is this in reference to having the link to the registry on the 1st page (along with all other links) or actually having registry information on the 1st page. Is it inappopriate to have the link on the 1st page - with all the other links?

Great question! You may have the link with all of the others on the home page. We just want to avoid any other references to gifts on the first page.
