I will not be having a bridal shower for my upcoming wedding. I felt that it is rude to include any registry information, or to even have a registry, since I will not have a bridal shower. However, I was told that a registry only informs guests of things that I need, instead of them wasting their money in something that I may not use. I did register at a store but do not know how to inform them. I am about to send out the invitations, do I include registry information in the invitations? I read in previous posts not to do so, but in my case, this is the only way they will know. Note that guests coming to the ceremony are the same as those coming to the reception, immediately following the ceremony. Is is appropriate to include the registry cards with the invitations to everyone invited? I will have a table for gifts at my reception, is this appropriate also?
Thank you very much!
