telling guests where we are registered

We are registering for a honeymoon at my place of work. Is it OK to put in the invitation who to contact there directly so I don't find out all the details before the wedding? It's hard because we are only registering 2 places. Any advice would be helpful.

Dear Cstance,

It is never appropriate to include any information about gifts in our invitations. In fact, even though it is considered appropriate by some etiquette standards, many find honeymoon registries distasteful. So, I wouldn't advertise it in any way except for the most tasteful and proper, which is by word of mouth or on a wedding website.

Please remember that only those who are invited to your wedding and actually attend are obligated to give you a gift. These days many are cutting back on their gift giving also. Please keep this in mind.

Best wishes,
