     A multi-part question about announcements/reception

I have not been able to find the answers to my questions and am hoping you can help. My daughter was married in LV last month and has returned to FL, where she and her husband will continue living. I would like to host a reception for them, which they will attend, here in MO. Her father & I are divorced and I alone will be hosting this for my family and friends. How do I:

1) Word the announcement?

2) Word the reception invitation?

3) Whose address should be on the envelope and RSVP? Of course, I will be the one making the arrangements.

If possible, I would like to make the announcement "generic" so the bride and groom can use it to send to their friends and relatives on her father's side and the groom's, showing their home address.

Am I missing anything?

Thank you for your help!

Dear Mom,

The bride and groom would be sending out wedding announcements to everyone not invited to the wedding and your reception. So, this is not your worry.

The reception invitation would be a typical wedding reception invitation that would reflect the formality of your event. You do not need to mention the wedding because your guests will know the couple is married.

Please read more about wedding/reception invitation etiquette.

Your name should be on the return envelope because you are the host.

Best wishes,
