     Addressing Announcements..*HELP*  

Can anyone tell me if it is acceptable to print the addressee's names on clear address labels and adhere them to the announment for mailing.

Dear Help,

Sorry, but no. All wedding correspondence is to be hand written, even the envelopes. Maybe this will be one of those rules that slowly fades away, but as of today it is still in affect.

Dear Paula,

The formality of the wedding is signaled by the invitation. For an informal wedding, sticky labels are fine. For a black tie affair, hand calligraphied invitations are more appropriate.
