     Announcement questions

My fiancee and I are planning a destination wedding and it will just be us. Can we send out announcements before the wedding day? Is it okay to include a nice photo of us? Also, do I use my new last name on the announcement? Do they have to be really fancy and expensive like invitations?

Thank you for your time.

Dear Natasha,

Announcements are sent after the wedding, never before. You can include pictures. These can be any type of card you wish to use.

Only send these to people who must know. Plus, remember, gifts are not expected from those who receive these.

Example:

Cheryl Rae Walker

and

Mr. Timothy Earle Jones

announce their marriage

Date

Location

Best wishes,
