As my fiance and I are having a destination wedding with only about 20 guests in attendance, we will be sending out a great many announcements after the fact.
I was planning on including an enclosure with our wedding website info on it, because we will be uploading photos from the ceremony for everyone to see - our families are quite spread out, so it would be extremely difficult to show them otherwise. However, I'm wary of doing this because our website also contains our registry information - it's not on the main page, but is still present on the website. I don't want our announcements to come across as a tacit request for gifts - I just want everyone to be able to share in our joy and to acknowledge the importance of those who couldn't be with us for the actual event.
Will it be OK to include our website info on an enclosure? Should we remove the registry page from the site before sending out the announcements?

Dear Announcing,
It's very nice to hear someone really more interested in sharing the joy than wanting gifts. Thank you.
It may come across exactly as you imagine. Even though announcements are not supposed to be a plea for gifts, many don't know this. So, it may be best to remove this information before announcing.
