     Announcing a Private Destination Wedding

We are going to get married in St. Lucia - just the two of us. We do not plan to have a reception / party back in the US, but would like to announce that we've been married to distant family and friends that we have not shared the news with. What is the best way to do this? What wording is appropriate? How do we communicate that we are not announcing our marriage because we expect gifts?

Any help is appreciated!

Wedding announcements do not obligate the recipient to send a gift so send an announcement to anyone you'd like to inform about the marriage.
