     BBQ reception words

How would I word a BBQ reception? I think the two words sound tacky together. We will be married around 6 months before reception. We are considering afternoon BBQ or late evening outdoor hor'd'ourve and drink reception in the warm weather. I also have a question about the late outdoor reception but I will post seperately.

Dear Lola,

Thank you for posting the questions separately.

You wouldn't write the type of reception it is on the invitation unless this is very informal and perhaps handwritten. But, you could list this information on an enclosure included in the invitation.

Best wishes,
