Combining Christmas cards with Save the Date?

My fiance and I are getting married in early June. We have roughly 60 guests who will be traveling from outside of the area to attend our wedding. I was planning on sending the Save the Dates sometime between Thanksgiving and early January. Is it acceptable to send my Save the Dates as part of our Christmas cards? I don't want to be inappropriate, but it would be nice to combine the time and postage! Smile

Dear Saying it with One Card,

This is fine as long as the wedding is very informal. If your event is formal in any sense, it wouldn't seem appropriate. For formal affairs every element should be special and convey the formality of the event.

Best wishes,
