     Confused about Wording!!

While we were on a big trip, my fiance proposed to me. As soon as we returned, we had our pictures taken so that we could put an engagement announcement in some of the nearby papers. Since our pictures were taken professionally, it's taken awhile to have them developed and get them back. We've been engaged for almost a month now. Is it too late to put an announcement in the paper? We would really like to, but a lot of people already know!! If it's not too late... how do we word the announcement? Both of my parents are remarried. If I'm putting the announcement in the paper of my grandparents' hometown, do I need to change the wording for that one paper?

It certainly will be okay to publish the engagement announcement in the paper when your photos are completed. To find the best was to word the announcement, you should contact the publication. Most have a form for submissions.

Dear So In Love,

It is not too late to have the announcement run. The wording can be changed based upon the paper, but one carefully worded announcement can be used for all.

All the best,
