Do I Have to Invite Rude Family Members to My Wedding?
I sent out a primary wedding announcement to close relatives, mainly cousins. I wanted to share the great news with them and the date so they could arrange their schedules accordingly. One of my cousins decides to respond negatively, criticizing the date I chose and inferring that I didn't think about anyone else's feelings. I've never liked this family member and she makes a stink about everything.
Do I have to invite her? There are so many other people that I'd rather invite who are supportive and ready to celebrate in this happy day.
Thanks,
Margaret

Firstly, I hope that you meant that you sent out save the date cards or invitations since wedding announcements are not to go out until after the wedding.
You do not have to invite anyone you don't want to include and have present at your wedding, family or no family. Send wedding invitations to the people you want to have witness your exchnage of vows and to celebrate with you at the reception.
