Include maiden name on wedding announcement

Is it necessary to include my maiden name in the announcements? If so, how would I incorporate it?

Yes, because people will want to know who was married. So, it would be: Cheryl Lynn Brown and Mr. Jack Jones announce their marriage Date Location
