One Wedding Two Receptions 1 Save the Date?

Hi, I am getting married in Texas with a reception following for all people attending the wedding. Two weeks later we are having a reception in Michigan mainly for my fiancee's family and our college friends.

However, everyone will be invited to the wedding, we just expect that many people will be able to attend. How do I include the wording into the save the date that there is an additional recpetion if they can't make it to the wedding, and they are invited to both receptions etc.

Thanks so much for your help!! I am trying to order my save the dates now and do not know how to word them!!

Dear One Wedding Two Receptions,

Typically you would send separate save the dates and invitations. But, the second reception is so close to your wedding date, so you wouldn't have time to send another invitation.

It may be best to simply list the second reception on the save the date as: Also, please save the date for our second reception... .

Best wishes,
