My husband and I were married overseas in a civil ceremoney two years ago and did not send a formal announcement. Last month we took formal photographs and would like to share these with our family and friends. However, we are unsure as to the appropriate wording for these announcements. Any advice would be greatfully received. Thank you.

Dear Have Photos,
Announcements are sent directly after the wedding to only those who need to know of your new marital status. Two years have past and it would seems as if everyone would know that you are married by now. So, this is not an announcement. You just want to share some nice photos of you and your husband.
You can send copies of these any way you wish. I would suggest not saying that this is an announcement. Perhaps just say that these are the pictures no one was able to see until now.
