My wedding was scheduled for April 13, 2007 but due to personal circumstances we needed to postpone it. We sent out post cards announcing the wedding was being postponed but now that we have a new date, and it's nowhere near our original date (November 16, 2007) how do we tell our guests about our new wedding date? Do I need to send new invitations? I'm puzzled and confused. PLEASE HELP!

Dear Andy,
There is no need for additional invitations as they know they are invited. But, you could send reminders closer to the date if all know the new date.
If you have received wedding and shower gifts, please do not use any of them until after the wedding.

Thank You very much Rebecca. One last question, can you give me examples of the wording I might use? Thank You once again.

These can be very simple. If your guests don't know the date yet, you could send a note now with the new date stating: Please reserve this new date, 11/16/07, for the wedding of Ms. Jane Doe and Mr. John Smith. Then closer to the date could send a simple reminder: We look forward to seeing you on 11/16/07 for our wedding--and sign it with both of your names.
This was just a sample of what you could write. There are no traditional 'rules' for this. So, just use your best judgment.
