Sending new invites for reception only after postponed wedding?
I was reading a posting where you told a bride that she did not need to send new invitations out for her postponed-then-rescheduled wedding date. Rather, she could send notes, postcards asking guests to save the new date, etc.
My fiance and I also postponed our original date, but now have decided to elope. We plan on having a reception when we return with the same guests in the same location. In this case, should we send new invites so that our guests will understand that they will be celebrating after the wedding, but not actually attending it?
Thanks!

Dear Heatheranders,
Thank you for reading through the posts.
You could simply write notes informing your guests of the changes. You don't have to create all new invitations. It might be too confusing anyway.
