Sending wedding announcements after private wedding
I live in Hawaii and our family and friends are on the East coast. We plan to get married, just the two of us in a private ceremony, and send announcements to family and friends with a picture and a statement regarding their importance to us. Is this ok to do?

Yes, this is fine and appropriate. But, please only send these to those who would want to know, as even though these are not a plea for gifts, it may appear to be.
