Should we send announcements to guests who did not make it to the wedding?
Hello,
My fiance and I moved out of state a few months before the wedding. We had a ton of guests that traveled to share our day, but many that didn't. We're getting our thank you notes in order but I'm not sure how to handle the large amount of guests that didn't make it. Most of them didn't send a card or a gift, so it wouldn't be appropriate for me to send a thank you note. We certainly understand that many couldn't travel and we were thinking of sending an announcement with a wedding picture to those who couldn't make it. Would that be inappropriate as well?
Thanks so much!

Dear Amandasue,
No, we don't send announcements to those who received invitations. It may appear as if you are expecting gifts. They already know you are married too. So, there really is no reason to announce it to them.
