     Wording for Newspaper

Hello,

I am finally getting around to our engagement announcement in the newspaper. They all have forms that ask names, jobs etc, so it's pretty straight forward. But I do have a few questions I haven't seen in past posts I searched for.

1. Are my parents Mr. and Mrs. Dad's name Jr. (he is a jr.) or Mom and Dad Lastname Jr. ? Or would dad come first?

2. The forms ask for grandparents and I would like to list them. Our paternal grandparents are still alive and married and I assume they would be listed same as my parents. Our Maternal grandparents are deceased. How would that be worded? His Maternal grandparents divorced and did not remarry, does that change the wording?

3. His mother passed away in January. How would his parents be worded in that situation?

Thank you for your help! Smile

The listing should be for your parents:

Mr. and Mrs. Dad's Name Jr.

your grandparents would be listed as

Mr. and Mrs. Grandfather's Name

the deceased would be listed as and the late Mr. and Mrs. Grandfather's Name

The divorced grandparents can be listed as:

Mrs. Grandmother Maiden name and Last Name

Mr. Grandfather Name
