bride & groom or just bride photo?

Hello. You helped me before the wedding and I have every faith that you will again now that I am married.

I have two questions. Both relate to wedding announcements in newspapers.

1. Should the wedding announcement photo include the bride and groom or just the bride. I've seen both, though more frequently the bride alone. Are both acceptable?

2. I am just now getting my wedding photos two months after the wedding (grrrrr.) Is it rude to post a wedding announcement in the paper at such a late date?

Thanks so much!

Dear Announcing,

It can be done either way, but it really should be the two of you. You are joined at the hip now :)

Two months isn't too late.

Best wishes,
