     elopement announcement wording

My husband and I eloped a few weeks ago and are planning on sending out elopement announcements. Since my husband is Canadian, we are planning on waiting until next year to have some sort of celebration party with family and friends after the immigration process is done. I'm trying to figure out wording to say something about the fact that we eloped and that details will be provided in the future for a celebration with family and friends. Also, is it appropriate to even mention this since it's so far in the future? Thanks!!

Dear Eloped,

These announcements would be the typical wedding announcements, which you can find the wording for by doing a search--lots of posts.

There is no need to mention the reception yet since you don't have any idea what the date will be.

Best wishes,
