wedding announcements after save the dates are sent out

I sent out save the date cards in mid April for a destination wedding to take place in October in Florida. Due to the hurricane I've had to cancel the wedding at this location. Instead of going thru the stress of planning another wedding, we have decided to go elope in Hawaii next month. We would like to send out announcements, but have no idea how to word it now to address the original wedding being cancelled and also announce the wedding that took place. Please help.

Dear Stormed,

Because you have sent Save the Date cards, it is imperitive that you send follow-up letters to everyone telling them that a big storm shut you down. Do this now. This is a must so that these people do not make travel plans. Everyone who received a Save the Date card must receive one.

Your announcements are completely different and would be mailed out after you marry. Just send these to those who absolutely must know that you married.

Best wishes,
