A bit of a falling out...

I have yet another invitation-related question...

My sister (a bridesmaid) had invited a friend of mine to my shower. The shower was a Pampered Chef shower (similar to Tupperwear but with kitchen stuff) and the friend felt that this was inappropriate and did not RSVP or show up. Should I still mail her an invitation to the wedding? We are not that close and I am a little upset with her...

Please advise.

Thanks,

ES

I can't tell why she thought the party was inappropriate but if she was close enough to you to be invited to the shower then she should be invited to the wedding. maybe the fact that the two of you aren't that close made her feel the invitation was inappropriate. But, again, if she was invited to the shower she should get a wedding invitation. If she chooses not to respond then someone will have to call her.
