Addressing Wedding Envelopes (do not have an inner envelope) Help Please!

Hello,

I am sending out my invitations and do not have an inner envelope. I have a few guests that have "guests" we would like them to feel free to bring but do not know how to address the mailing address envelope. I do not have an inner envelope so I have no idea what I should do. I don't know if it is okay for me to put the person's name and guest on the outter mailing envelope. Please help me! Blush I'm all flustered! Can I add a little note inside that says feel free to bring a guest or is that tacky???

No need to be flustered...you can address the outer envelope like this:

Mr. John Brown and Name of Friend (if you know it)

or

Mr. John Brown and Guest
