Addressing Wedding Invitation Marine Corps Commandant & Wife

Hello-

Please advise on how I would address a wedding invitation to the Marine Corps Commandant & his wife? My fiance just returned from Iraq and the Marine Corps Commandant will be attending our wedding. Thanks!

Dear Prelude,

It would be Commandant His Name, United States Marine Corps on the first line and Mrs. Her Name directly below his name.

Best wishes,

Oh, so, it wouldn't be by his title as General? Please see below and advise. Thanks.

General Amos, Assistant Commandant of USMC & Mrs. Amos?

Honestly, I don't know military titles. So, use his title. That is the focus. Whatever he uses as his title, that is what you list him as.
