Addressing invitations: re-married woman who kept previous name

My grandfather (a doctor) recently remarried. His new wife kept the last name of her previous husband. How should I address the invitation?

Now I have:

Mrs. Jane Doe and Dr. John Smith

Is this correct? Or should I use Ms.?? It is not her married name, though, so I'm a bit confused. Thanks.

Dear Julielee,

List your grandfather first because his title ranks higher than hers. So, it could be: Dr. John Smith and Ms. (Mrs.) Jane Doe.

The title Ms. and Mrs. are a personal choice. If it were me, I'd ask her what her preference is. Some of us are very opinionated about it.

Best wishes,
