Addressing wedding invitations when inner envelope is a postcard

Our invitations have a postcard style inner envelope, so I'm wondering how this effects the way I address the outer envelopes. Where do I include the words, "and guest"? Thanks for the advice.

Dear Ali,

I don't understand about the postcard style envelope. But, if you are not using an inner envelope, you could state this on the outer. We would rather not though. Including an enclosure stating that they can bring a guest is best.

Best wishes,
