Falling out with best friend -- tshould I invite her to my wedding?
My best friend was supposed to be my maid of honor, however, we had some issues and she withdrew from her position as maid of honor and has stated in no uncertain terms that she will not attend. These are her choices, not mine. We have been friends for a long time and I consider she and her family (brothers, sisters, parents) as my own (I'm actually closer to them than I am to my own). Do I still invite her and all the different family members I was going to invite just so they know it's not my choice that she/they will not be attending (as she has stated she nor any member of her family will not attend -- it's a control thing) or do I just take them off the invite list?

Since we really can't get into personal relationships or get to know the issues here, simply, I would go ahead and invite them if you would like them to attend. It can then be their choice to come or not. But maybe time and a bit of discussion will lead the two of you back together. Hope that's the case.
