Forgot to mention time on wedding reception invitation

A friend asked me to make her invitations and I was glad to. I had her check them 3 times and she said they were great. When I was sealing them I had a weird feeling, then as I dropped them in the mailbox my gut ached. I received a call 2 days later asking what time they were to arrive to this reception, it was not on the invitation.

Her husband and I were sneaking in a surprise birthday wish for her too, so I was the RSVP to take the "Load" off of the Bride, and the time went by the wayside. How do I word the correction since I do not know the majority of these guests, please help, this is urgent!

Dear Mom,

It may be best to send a card to each guest explaining the mistake. This could be a simple blank card that you print the information on. Perhaps those business cards will do.

If this isn't possible, you will have to call each of them. If they are to call you, then you could tell them at that time.

If the reception is directly after the wedding and at the same location, then there is no problem.

Best wishes,
