     Formal Wedding Invitation Wording  

I eed your help with wording my wedding invitation. This is what we have so far.

Bride and Groom

request the honour of your presence

at our marriage

Date

Place

TIME-Reception at 5 o"clock

Chuppah (Hebrew for Ceremony) at 6 o'clock

Dinner immediately following

How can I make this more formal?

Dear Nervous,

Usually we don't list the itinerary. You would simply state the time all of it begins 5 o'clock. Then you would add that there is a reception to follow. Please read more about wedding invitation etiquette.
