     Grandma interfering with wedding invitations

I went to visit my grandparents today to get the last three addresses I needed (couple of grandma's siblings). We started talking about the wedding and she told me about all the people she had told that they were not invited. I was planning to invite most of these people, now I am absolutely mortified that she told them they weren't invited. What do I do; should I still send them their invitations? I could just about die right now from how embarrassed I am.

Dear Stellagirl,

I'm sorry that your grandmother has put you in this difficult situation. But, these are your guests. So, just send the invitations as if nothing has been said. After all, you didn't say anything, she did. Hopefully they will realize that your grandmother misunderstood about the guest list. And, if any of these guests contact you about the invitation, you could mention that it was just a misunderstanding.

Good luck with this.
