     Husband/Wife military rank on invitations

Hi, my fiance and I are both in the Army National Guard as of now, and by the time we get married (May 2009) he will be a 2nd Lieutenant in the Active Duty Army, yet I will still be an NCO in the Army National Guard. Is it proper to put my branch of servive under my name still? How would that work?

Thanks for your help Smile

Dear Greenwhite,

You could list the branch only if you are on active duty. If you are on active duty, it would be listed under your name as: United States National Guard.

Best wishes,
