Do you still feel it is necessary to include driving instructions to the church and reception site?. Many, many people how have GPS systems in their cars and absolutely everyone can get to the internet and use Map Quest or Rand Mc Nally maps. Both our church and the reception site have web sites that give driving instructions from a variety of starting points (North, South, East West). With all this information available why do I still need to put maps and directions in the invitation?

Kathy - It may seem like many people have GPS and everyone has internet access but that isn't really the case, especially for older people. It's considered respectful to send directions to make it easy on your guests to attend. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

I couldn't agree more. And, hey. I don't have GPS. And, sometimes I forget the maps I've downloaded. Jeez, what a pain. So, it is helpful when all the information is in one envelope. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
