Including registry cards in wedding invitations?

The bride would like to include wedding gift registry cards inside of her wedding invitation that states gift cards are requested. What is your opinion? Should these registry cards even be included in the invitation at all?

Most etiquette experts agree that listing your wedding gift registry in your wedding invitation is not proper wedding etiquette. Pass the word along to your friends and family and ask them to pass the information along to guests who ask where the couple is registered or what they might like as a gift. Don't make the focus of the wedding the gifts.
