Including a deposit slip in wedding invitations

I just received my invitations in the mail and am preparing them. Is it considered rude to include a deposit slip to my bank in the invitations so they can deposit gift money easier?

YES - I don't think we have to elaborate on that answer.

The message would be: I expect you to pay for my wedding. You wouldn't be sending just an invitation at that point. It would be a bill. We never expect our guests to bring their wallets or to pay for anything. And, we never mention gifts or imply that we want them. We want our guest's attendance because we care about them.
