Invitation wording for hors d'oeuvres reception - mentioning menu or food choices

I'm having an afternoon ceremony & reception (same place) w/ heavy hors d'oeuvres and a beer/wine bar. How should I word that on the invitation? Is it appropriate to just say "Heavy hors d'oeuvres reception to follow"? Should we make mention of the menu at all?

Dear Invitation Wording,

You really don't need to tell the guests what you are serving. It is understood that you will feed them something if they are invited to an afternoon wedding and reception. You would simply state, "and afterward ..." following the wedding annoucement. Often the reception is in an adjoining room, so you would say, "and afterward in adjoining room X." There is no need to make mention of the menu of food choices on the invitation.

Congratulations.

Sincerely,
