Invited to wedding for people I haven't seen in 20 years.

CrazyI received an invite to a reception (wedding took place in the bahamas already) from someone I've never been close to and haven't spoken to for 20 years. Strange? Should I go? my husband thinks I should call him and ask why we were invited. I feel uncomfortable doing that.

Help!!!

Very odd. It could be that they need to fill a room or are just looking for gifts (even though a reception invitation doesn't obligate you to send a gift, only a wedding invitation does and only in the case where you have a relationship with the couple) or possibly they wish to have you back in their lives.

Do what makes you comfortable. But, you should reply in some manner.
